Sharon Brenes is the Founder of Karuna Tribu, a yoga studio and online community based in San Jose, Costa Rica, Director of Shakti Seva (the non-profit extension of SoulWork™), and Senior Teacher for SoulWork™ programming.
She started her yoga practice in 2008 and started her training path as a Yoga teacher in 2015.
She has focused on the study and practice of traditional yoga, and in 2019 she made her first trip to India, learning directly from teachers of the Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar and Akhanda traditions.
She creates safe and powerful spaces for self-observation and transformation in the classes she facilitates.
