Sat Nam Ji!

My legal name is Rosa Maria Cisneros, my spiritual name is Livsangat Kaur (Princess Lioness of God who achieves the destiny of her soul while is in community)

I started Yoga as a guinea pig while I was in university (1999). My partner in my sociology thesis - university career in which I graduated - (Ximena Lopez, currently residing in Chile, and is a wonderful yoga teacher) began to do her training in India, so we did classes of the first series of Ashtanga Yoga at the time. And that was my first approach to the world of yoga.

I continued practicing Ashtanga Yoga and Vinyasa in different yoga centers and with different teachers in Caracas, Venezuela. But it was when I lived in London that my life took a big turn when I met a teacher of Traditional Hatha Yoga and Pranayama (Terry Reader). My vision of Yoga changed radically, and I began to understand yoga as a means of healing, of health, of being able to really help others to combat both "physical" and "mental" illnesses (in the end all emotional, by the way) ... This teacher fixed in my head that I should teach yoga.

When I returned to Venezuela, I wanted to start studying Shivananda style. But, without wanting to, I came across Kundalini Yoga as Yogi Bhajan taught. A workshop came to Caracas which at the time was called Medicinal Yoga (2011) given by Santokh Singh. And as I was looking to teach how to heal with yoga, so I enrolled in this workshop, to see what I could learn to work with yoga in the healing porocesses.

From that moment and until today I practice and teach actively, with faithful confidence in this technology: Kundalini Yoga, especially to help others and myself to live being healthy, happy and holy (3HO). I have the first level of Kundalini Yoga Instructor endorsed by the KRI (Kundalini Research Institute), and I am currently pursuing my third year of second Level in Kundalini Yoga.

Then, in 2016 I also began to delve into the practice of Kaula Tantra Yoga, which I studied and worked for a period of 5 years in Ecuador, certified in 500HRS. by Yoga Alliance and Yoga Alliance International and teaching in International Teacher Trainings both styles: Kundalini Yoga as Kaula Tantra Yoga.
