A lover of the mind/body/soul connection, As a RYT Yoga teacher, I emphasize the body
connection to breath, while creating a safe environment for students to practice yoga. With seven years of training in pranayama, & meditation study, plus five years of practicing yoga in San Diego, I apply my experience to each class, helping students discover their own breath and body
awareness during the yoga flow. As an author of self-help books and student of the philosophy of yoga, I also remind students to make self-care as part of their daily routine on and off the mat.
Our breath is always available at any moment to help us come back to our center. My goal is to encourage yoga practitioners to discover how breath is the anchor to inner well-being in each class & reinstating fundamental daily habits like self-love, nourishing the soul and practicing daily yoga.

This is an excellent class for beginners class, too. Breath, Connect and explore re-discover your yoga poses in this one hour-1 hour 15 (window) of re-balancing from the ground up. Thursday- Gentle Stretch Yoga at 10:30 a.m. – one hour – Enter the Circle of Thursday Gentle Yoga. Calming, relaxing music with a mini-open meditation, this class is designed to help you de-stress, find your inner calm, and walk out feeling lighter in brighter with each step. This class has a devoted following of practitioners that love Carlsbad Village Yoga’s tribe, lifting each other up, while reconnecting with inner-self & each other. I just love this class. Gentle Yoga may not sound that exciting, however, when you breathe deep, stay present inside your body during each asana, it can be a surreal experience. Friday- 5:15 pm-6:15 pm -ALL LEVEL FLOW - Happy Hour Yoga time. Start the weekend off right with one hour Asana practice with a mini-meditation to begin, setting your own intention, good warm up, plus light yoga flow with a warrior series. This is such a fun class with lots of movement. Beginner to medium level, but all levels welcome- some harder poses included for the yogi's looking for challenging poses. Breathe deep, stretch and flow for the perfect beginning to your weekend.
Sunday-10 a.m. Gentle Stretch- 75 minutes (alternating every other week) Gentle Stretch on Sunday’s 10 a.m. class is similar to my Thursday class, but with also emphasis on about 15 minutes of restorative yoga, which will help you feel renewed, refreshed and ready to have a bright Sunday after attending this class yoga class with me. I have finished my 300 hour certification from Mira Costa College December 11, 2020. What a wonderful Yoga Program. I highly recommend to everyone.
