A lover of the mind/body/soul connection, As a RYT Yoga teacher, I emphasize the body
connection to breath, while creating a safe environment for students to practice yoga. With seven years of training in pranayama, & meditation study, plus five years of practicing yoga in San Diego, I apply my experience to each class, helping students discover their own breath and body
awareness during the yoga flow. As an author of self-help books and student of the philosophy of yoga, I also remind students to make self-care as part of their daily routine on and off the mat.
Our breath is always available at any moment to help us come back to our center. My goal is to encourage yoga practitioners to discover how breath is the anchor to inner well-being in each class & reinstating fundamental daily habits like self-love, nourishing the soul and practicing daily yoga.

Thursday- Gentle Stretch Yoga at 10:30 a.m. – one hour – Enter the Circle of Thursday Gentle Yoga. Calming, relaxing music with a mini-open meditation, this class is designed to help you de-stress, find your inner calm, and walk out feeling lighter in brighter with each step. This class has a devoted following of practitioners that love Carlsbad Village Yoga’s tribe, lifting each other up, while reconnecting with inner-self & each other. I just love this class. Gentle Yoga may not sound that exciting, however, when you breathe deep, stay present inside your body during each asana, it can be a surreal experience. (Also, it has been said, I give the best adjustments!) *Did you know that Gentle Yoga helps you lose weight? Say it isn’t so… Click here to read more about the science of Gentle Yoga and Weight loss.
