With an athletic background in Dance, Swim, and Competitive Artistic Skating, yoga was a natural fit for me. I first came to yoga for health reasons. I was told about 9 years ago that my MS would likely land me in a wheelchair within 3 years. It became my goal to prove everyone wrong. After seeing the benefits that yoga has had on my life, I was led to share it with others. 

I teach a variety of yoga, ranging from a Restorative/Yin class, to a far more active class which includes arm balances and inversions, and everything in between. I work mostly with a Hatha style Vinyasa yoga, or flow yoga. 

I love the feeling I get after a yoga class, whether it had been sweet and gentle, or more challenging. That limp noodle body, quiet mind, open heart, ability to breathe deep feeling. It is my hope that anyone that takes a yoga class, whether it's with me or someone else, leaves with that same feeling; a little lighter, a little looser, and a little more joyful in this crazy world!
