Jenny is a creative global citizen, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, and a transformational coach with her base in the UK. She completed her first teacher training ‘Art & Science of Yoga’ (RYS200) in 2017, lead by Marisa van Vuuren (South Africa) and Angie Lake (Scotland) in the style of Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga based yoga. Two years later in 2019 she returned to Tanzania to complete another 200 hours of training.
With a childhood and teens in gymnastics she was naturally drawn towards the physical aspects of yoga when she first discovered it in 2004. Today she is passionate about sharing the transformative qualities of yoga and truly believes in the positive impact it can have on people’s lives both on and off the mat. She has a self-practice in Ashtanga and enjoys Vinyasa Flow for it’s creative sequencing, grace and breath work.
Jenny teaches Creative Vinyasa Flow and strives to make yoga as an art and science accessible to anyone simply intrigued or willing to practice with devotion. Her teaching style is methodical, providing detailed cues and modifications with great attention to anatomy, healthy alignment and transitions.
Students are invited to a warm and creative environment and taught how to connect their breath with movement; making it a moving meditation that builds heat in their bodies and calms their minds.
