I began practicing yoga over 10 years ago and embraced yoga teacher training to deepen my understanding and awareness. I have found through the asanas, combined with meditation and breathing techniques, a fundamental change in my perception and well-being. I have been a teacher since 2007, and have managed a yoga studio and a yoga teacher training college in Vancouver. In 2012 I completed a 50hr Yin Yoga teacher training and in 2013, completed another 200hr training in Ashtanga. I primarily teach vinyasa or flow style, with a strong emphasis on breath, bandha and alignment. Yoga is more than a physical practice on the mat and more than a lifestyle. It is something each of us are already, that we can be aware of in this moment, right now. I am grateful for the opportunity to share the experience of yoga with you.
