I originally qualified as an Iyengar yoga teacher in1995, and since then I have continued to study different forms of yoga, movement and spiritual practices with many great teachers from diverse backgrounds such as Gill Clarke, Rajmani Tigunait, Geeta Iyengar.
Today I offer a somatic style of vinyasa yoga and movement which stems from a listening within, so the body’s knowing wisdom and resilience can be heard, felt and valued. Connecting with the breath as the movement source and the earth for support, I weave traditional and contemporary principles into asana and movement sequences to experience felt presence and safely draw participants beyond perceived limitation and closer to true potential and confidence.
Of particular influence currently in my practice and offerings are the teachings of Pema Chödrön, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen (Body Mind Centre) and Dr. Andreo Spina (Functional Range Conditioning).
I teach open classes in London and I am co-founder
of Daoist Flow Yoga Teacher Training Level 1 and triyoga’s Advanced Teacher Training.
I offer one to one tuition, yoga workshops, retreats
and holidays in the UK and abroad, as well as online classes.
I am also an author of the following published yoga books:
