Dr. Kimberly Borin has worked in education since 1989 as an elementary school teacher, and elementary and high school counselor. She earned her doctorate from Rutgers University in Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education in 2005. She earned a Master of Education in College Counseling and Student Personnel Administration from the University of Delaware in 1989 and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership in 2010 from Centenary College.
She is an Ananda Yoga teacher and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) at the 200-hour level. She is also trained as a Karma Kids Yoga Instructor and Laughter Yoga Leader. She loves teaching yoga to adults and children. She is also a reiki teacher. She teaches in churches, studios, schools and privately too.
She also loves writing stories, teaching students of all ages, and creating encouraging art. She believes we each have a gift to bring to the world! She is the author of three books: Laughter Salad, Laughter Salad for Little Ones, and most recently, Learning and Growing with Laughter Salad, a book for teachers and counselors.
