Kim Gebro is a Trauma Informed Integrative Yoga and Meditation Specialist. As a sociologist who has been immersed in the field of education for 20 years, she has been exposed to the rise of anxiety, depression, self-harm, and psychosomatic illnesses on a very intimate level. Dealing with her own anxiety and chronic pain, she pursued an in-depth study of the mind-body connection with a focus on the nervous system. Through her personal yoga practice, meditation, and mindfulness techniques, she recognized the ease of the mind and body that came from present moment awareness, whether in movement or stillness.
She decided to deepen her skill set and pursued studies in yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. Kim completed her 200-hour yoga certification program and earned additional teaching certifications in both Warriors At Ease and iRest® (Integrative Restoration), both trauma informed yoga and meditation programs. She recently completed an intensive Kripalu yoga program supporting her ability to provide tailored care for individuals' mental, emotional, and physical imbalances.
Kim currently has a private practice in Peterborough, NH and is serving the general population and NH's military community as a Warriors At Ease affiliate. This designation means that she can serve local NH service members, their families, and their caretakers at no cost to them. Through crowdfunding and local donations, these folks are able to access effective mind-body practices, with a focus on developing awareness in order to re-pattern the brain and body to be more balanced, allowing clients to feel more at ease.
Kim's mission is to assist others in developing the tools necessary to improve their overall physiological and psychological wellness. Kim specializes in trauma, anxiety, and chronic pain. Kim Gebro Website
