Amie Weymes is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Amie was born and raised in Ireland. She discovered yoga after moving to Canada in 2012.
She fell in love with the practice when it helped her through weight-loss, anxiety and stress.
She enjoys nature walks with her dog, camping and road trips, listening to classical music while doing housework and socializing with friends and family.
Amie is also a singer & musician and has a diploma in general science & microbiology and works in quality assurance.
“I like to practice and teach the Hatha, Flow and Yin styles of Yoga”. I like to remind participants that the physical practice of yoga is not about how it looks but how it feels, to let go of ego and breathe.”
From 2018- 2021 Amie completed her RYT200hr in Edmonton, Alberta with Sara Cueva of Higher Love Yoga Academy, 25hrs Pre-Natal Certificate with Clare Newman of Mamata Yoga and Yin Yoga Certificate 50hrs with Lisa Gaglione of Mind Body Soul Yoga.
