Maria Cristine Diotte is the founder of Bliss Arts which encourages inspiration and wellness through Yoga and the Arts. Through Bliss Arts, Maria teaches vinyasa flow yoga, curates art exhibits, and co-hosts arts events and workshops.

Maria earned her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification in January 2019 through Aaron Styles of Styles Yoga who offers trainings out of the Hot Yoga Spot based in Albany, NY. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. 

The vinyasa flow yoga classes which Maria instructs aim to cultivate a focused mind, body awareness, physical fitness and inner peace. She has instructed classes at the Kinderhook Memorial Library. She teaches seasonally at Stable Gate Farm & Winery - Yoga Shala Sanctuary in Castleton-on-Hudson, and she teaches year-round at BodyWorks Wellness Center in Albany.

Maria also writes and performs as part of Diotte Sorelle, a sister duo presenting spoken word poetry, percussion and song. She is part of the group, Creating Moments, which offers experiences of poetry, yoga, dance and guided meditation. She has a Bachelor of Science in English and Adolescent Education from SUNY Oneonta. Maria is also trained in level 1 Reiki as well as the Aromatouch Technique of applying essential oils. She continues to learn and develop her passion for wellness and creative arts.

Maria resides in Kinderhook, NY with her partner Collin, son Silas, cats Tina and Louise, and tortoise Morrison. In addition to her love for practicing and teaching yoga, and for coordinating and participating in the arts, she enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with loved ones.
