I began practicing yoga in 2015 as a way to relieve stress and add a new form of physical activity to my routine. I was hooked immediately and it wasn't long before I sensed that yoga was going to be a transformative power in my life. I’ve been truly amazed by the many benefits that yoga has provided including a more positive self-image, self-compassion, confidence, physical and emotional strength, and an openness to embrace life.
I felt a calling to share the gift of yoga with others and completed my 200-RYT training in 2018 with Kim Lomonoco. I enjoy practicing and teaching power flow, Yin, chair yoga, and gentle yoga and I especially love working with new students.
Always seeking new ways to make yoga accessible to everyone, I completed the Yoga For All certification training with Dianne Bondy and Amber Karnes in 2019. My belief is that the physical and mental benefits of yoga are attainable for anyone regardless of physical ability. I work to meet students where they are and encourage self-acceptance and compassion.
