Sandra first tried yoga at 19, loved it and has been practising ever since. Originally, she trained as an actress at LAMDA where yoga was also part of an actors’ discipline. Eventually, she did a yoga foundation course accredited with the British Wheel of Yoga, then onto both her 200 & 500 hour teacher training at YogaLondon. She was invited to teach on both the 200 & 500 hour courses at YogaLondon where she became a course leader as well as team leader for the teaching faculty. She has guided hundreds of students to develop their passion for yoga and continues to do so internationally.
Sandra teaches locally in Surrey-U.K. including Wentworth Golf Club, the Fairmont Windsor Park Hotel and online. Her teaching style is warm, inclusive and authentic with a good dollop of humour. Her expertise is in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, Power Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, and Meditation.
She also runs regular workshops for Yoga teachers as well as CPD's topics include Yoga for Sleep, Physical adjustments in Yoga, Yoga & the Breath, Finding your Yoga Voice.
She specialises in offering classes that are tailor-made for clients' needs. Therefore, as well as traditional yoga postures, classes might include breath work (Pranayama), meditation and some philosophy or a few jokes depending on the student's requirements.
Her classes are accessible yet sometimes challenging, great fun and you always leave feeling wonderful.
