A lifelong athlete and lover of all things sweaty, Sandi Gohn (RYT-200, Yin Yoga-50) began practicing yoga in middle school as a way to cope with the stress of sports, school and other melodramatic 12-year-olds. Several jobs, degrees and a Division 1 softball career later, Sandi began to seriously integrate yoga and pilates into her fitness routine in 2014 and decided to pursue her 200 Teacher Certification from Yoga Heights, where she is also the in-house photographer and videographer, a few years later. Soon after, she also pursued an additional 50 hour training certificate in yin yoga from Mona Abter and Gunnar Lips.
Sandi currently teaches vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, HIIT and bootcamp throughout the Washington DC area with weekly public studio classes at Yoga Heights and Illumin8. She also has a flourishing private and corporate yoga portfolio and currently works with varsity student athletes from The George Washington University.
A true believer of "everything in moderation," Sandi loves to teach classes that will make you sweat, stretch and leave you feeling empowered to take on the rest of the day. Fun fact, her favorite pose is legs up the wall! When she's not practicing yoga or snuggling her two calico kitties, Sandi loves to run, cook and taste new brews with her amazing friends and family.
