Accomplished Business professional with years of entrepreneurial and corporate experience in branding, marketing, strategy, and finance, as well as having founded and managed two successful businesses.
Influenced by my teachers, peers, environment and travels I aim to bring a unique sense of empowerment to each of my classes. Through intention, meditation, pranayama, and asana my goal is to have my students leave each class feeling refreshed and renewed.
I teach in a way that provokes thought and meaning, letting the student experience for themselves through careful planning and energy reading. My classes are always challenging physically and mentally, delivered in English and Sanskrit with uplifting music, including demonstrations and hands on assistance.
I have over 500 teaching hours, and my training is in Hatha Yoga with a foundation in meditation, as that was the style in which my teachers were trained. My personal practice includes many different styles, including Vinyasa, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, Kids Yoga, Yin, and Power/Slow Flow Yoga, and I incorporate different elements from those disciplines into each of my classes.
I have also trained with Les Mills Australia, renowned experts, and I learned to incorporate the beneficial powers of Pilates and Tai Chi into my classes.
