Karen Cutrona Turner is the owner of UbU Yoga & Fitness, LLC a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance.
Karen loves teaching and practicing a variety of yoga classes from Hatha-style Kripalu, to Power Vinyasa. She also enjoys guiding others through her signature Kore and Fusion Flows.
Karen's E-RYT500 credential represents yoga teacher trainings in both Eastern and Western traditions.
Karen achieved her Kripalu Yoga Certification under the mentorship of Guruji Deva Parnell. Karen is also Power Yoga - Baptiste Style Certified through MBody Yoga founder, Mark White. Additionally, Karen achieved her Power Yoga Teacher Training with internationally renowned Bryan Kest; and is Yoga Shred™-Trained by acclaimed Sadie Nardini, founder of Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga.
Driven by her passion for yoga, Karen founded Blue Moon Yoga and Fitness, Inc. in Ormond Beach, FL and owned and operated it from 2009-2013. The business of yoga afforded Karen many great opportunities for community involvement, and in improving individuals' lives through the varied yoga class offerings she and her staff provided.
This great experience led to Karen's next endeavor as the sole proprietor of UbU Yoga & Fitness, LLC providing corporate and individual yoga instruction as well as YTT200 and Advanced 300-Hour certification programs at her home-based studio and Registered Yoga School (RYS). Karen is also a YACEP workshop provider.
Karen's continuing passion is to inspire others to discover more about their unique creation through yoga. Her YTT training programs invite participants to engage mind, body and spirit in a journey of self discovery and personal challenge as they learn to become empowering and charismatic yoga teachers.
In addition to her endeavors with UbU Yoga & Fitness, Karen enjoys her marriage to Steve, loves being "Ma" to 3 amazing adult children, and "Coco" to 4 beloved grandchildren. Karen is a wellness/lifestyle blogger.
Karen served as a Fitness Expert for Chicago Home Fitness brands, and her ERYT500 designation through Yoga Alliance reflects over 13,000 hours of yoga teaching and training.
