Sarah Hentges is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. She has taught yoga for 15 years in a variety of community centers, gyms, and college campuses as well as Hiking Yoga on the Bangor Waterfront and yoga retreats at Pumpkin Hill. She also teaches a variety of other fitness classes, particularly dance aerobics and mind/body fitness dance. Sarah is also a professor of American studies at the University of Maine at Augusta and a published author of books including _Women and Fitness in American Culture_. She has a Facebook group "Yoga for Every Mind/Body with Sarah Hentges" and teaches free Community Yoga classes on the UMA-Bangor campus.
