I believe in the holistic benefits of a yoga practice and enjoy teaching with equal emphasis on breath, strength, stability, flexibility, and mobility on a physical and emotional level: an invitation to let movement be led by the body and breath rather than the thinking mind. I have experience teaching beginners and seasoned students one to one, in small groups and classes of up to 12. I generally prioritise breath affording an opportunity to ‘expand’ into a pose allowing alignment, balance and comfort within each individual maintaining a controlled breath. I have also enjoyed introducing students to the benefits of a supported restorative practice offering deep release through muscles and mind. I am ‘yoga for cancer’ qualified where classes are tailored for those living with the disease and the side effects of treatment. Yoga is for every body and I look forward to sharing my yoga with all who show up.
