Maria Elena Corral came to find her yoga practice in 2013 during a hectic and uncertain period in her life. Through regular yoga practice, Elena began to relinquish the need to be constantly productive and distracted. Yoga facilitated the development of Elena’s awareness and understanding of the mind body connection. Elena discovered yoga as the tool by which she could take control over her own thoughts, emotions, and reactions. 

Yoga brought a restorative power to Elena's life and subsequently led her to develop a love for sharing the practice with those around her. Elena completed her initial 200-hour hot yoga training with Blissful Spirits Yoga Teacher Training program in Albuquerque, New Mexico in November of 2017. In September of 2019, Elena completed an additional 30-hour Level II Empowerment Training offered by the YogaJoint. 

Elena believes that true health and joy is achieved through comprehensive care of the body, mind, and spirit. Elena leads her yoga classes with an open heart and welcomes students from all walks of life, in all stages of their practice, to join her in a mutual pursuit of balance, love, and peace.
