Eoin (they/them) traces the roots of their yoga practice to childhood martial arts such as Olympic fencing and Aikido, where the seeds of meditation and embodiment practice were planted.
As an adult, these seeds grew into an asana practice rooted in Hatha/flow, and a meditation practice informed by direct teaching from Dave Smith (current meditation mentor), Chris Crotty, and Sayadaw U Indaka (and his translator, May Myint Oo).
Eoin remains active in martial arts, currently training at Logic Philly as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt (earned at South Tampa Jiu Jitsu). They hold an RYT 200 certification accountable to the Yoga Alliance, and actively work towards a trauma-informed 300 hour addition.
Eoin facilitates yoga asana, dharana, and dhyana practice aligned with the values of the Secular Dharma Foundation, and offers training to anyone seeking balance within the context of conflict and conflict recovery.
They are currently converting a 37 acre farm into a retreat center in the Adirondack Mountains.
