In 2004 the concepts and meaning of yoga was introduced to Michelle while she was in Koh Samui, Thailand at the Yoga in Thailand facility. Mornings of Ashtanga yoga and afternoons of meditation opened many doors to more exploration. In 2012, Michelle traveled to Isla Mujeres, Mexico to fulfill the requirements and her dream of becoming a Yoga Teacher. At the 200 hr Teacher Training at Vastu School of Yoga Michelle was taught the gentle confidence to teach Hatha Yoga, Sivananda style. In 2016 she went to Ajijic, MX to Yoga Veda 200 hr Teacher Training to renew and expand on her Sivananda experience and added Ayurveda and Meditation.
In 2018, Michelle ventured to India to complete her 300hr Vinyasa/Ashtanga course so she can add flow to her classes. Now, she is a 500hr Teacher.
Influenced by the 5 Principles of Swami Sivananda's Yoga – Proper Relaxation, Exercise, Diet, Breathing & Thinking/Meditation – Michelle offers a refreshing and relaxing yet strengthening yoga class.
