I can say that I have lived my life to discover Yoga. I love it so much, and that love is the place from where I teach it.
I have been a Yoga practitioner for over 20 years, and had an honour to practice with many amazing teachers across the world. My practice was, however, particularly influenced by the Bihar and Hridaya schools of Yoga. This orientation led me to discover the Akasha Yoga Academy, where I completed my 200hrs Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Course. I also hold a First Class Certificate in Philosophy of Yoga, from Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies affiliated with the University of Oxford.
Only partly relevant to my Yoga practice, I am a trained medical doctor, and a former academic researcher in health studies. The mixture of natural and social sciences in my head, occasionally adds a quirky flavour to my ongoing studies of Yoga, and to my Yoga classes that are otherwise taught purely from my practice and from my heart.
Until the 2020 lockdowns, I used to teach four to five studio & community hall classes per week, in Dunblane, Bridge of Allan, and Blairlogie, in Scotland. I started teaching online on 23rd March 2020, and since then I teach five to eight live online classes per week, along with monthly workshops and occasional home based yoga retreats. I also offer outdoors sessions when the weather and public health rules allow so.
From late April 2022, we are back to studio & community hall classes, along with continuing the regular and still popular live online classes.
