I am a certified Hatha yoga teacher.  I have been practicing for over 20 years. I completed my first teacher training in 2004. Since then, I have studied Iyengar yoga (in India and France) and Anusara yoga (in Thailand, Bali (Indonesia) and Canada). I have taught yoga in Asia, Europe, North America, Central America and now offer retreats in the jungle of Peru.

My teaching style is alignment-based whether in gentle yoga, Hatha yoga, slow flow or SUP yoga classes. I also completed teacher trainings in prenatal yoga, yoga for seniors and yoga for children as well as SUP yoga.

While in India, I studied and received my Reiki Master certification, an energy healing technique that focuses on hand imposition to transfer life force energy.

In 2011, I started and operated a yoga studio in Bromont, Quebec, Canada for almost two years which I called Studio Maya Yoga.  It was a great experience that prepared me for my dream project of opening a yoga retreat center in the tropics.  In 2013, my partner and I started welcoming guests at Tambo Ilusion, a beautiful private conservation area in the Amazon jungle where international guests come for our 5 day yoga vacation program which is offered year round.

It is with the intention of creating a special place to gather, practice, share and learn about healthy living that I started my yoga project at Tambo Ilusión.  Tambo Ilusión offers a rustic yet quaint environment surrounded by natural beauty, a beautiful fresh water lagoon, a spectacular yoga shala, delicious vegetarian food and more!  The perfect setting for reconnecting and for a grounding yoga practice.
