Dear Yoga Friends,
Due to the coronavirus epidemy, the yoga classes will be cancelled until future notice, as the good sense and Yoga Alliance advises. One could be contagious without having any signs, and the virus spreads super quickly. We can see this situation of voluntary quarantine as a real-time practice of compassion, and like anything else in life, it is up to us to make it a positive experience or a real struggle. There is a choice.
I will continue to send daily emails with a video practice and short notes to people who showed interest in them.
Wishing you a healthy retreat for now, and looking forward to seeing you soon,
Blanche Serban, RYT–200, teaches an integral yoga system called Advanced Yoga Practices (AYP), which includes besides asanas (postures) that we all know and love, other elements such as, pranayama, mudras, bandhas, kriyas, yogic diet, yogic lifestyle, bhakti yoga, meditation, self-inquiry and more. Following the tradition of Patanjali, these practices promote self-exploration and self-development for a happier, healthier life.
Besides Patanjali and Yogani, her other teachers are Katagiri Roshi, The Dalai Lama, The Karmapa, Lama Tsultrim Alione, and Amritanandamayi, known as Amma, The Huggining Saint. Her eclectic knowledge and personal experience enliven the classes, while acceptance and warmth enable the students to open more fully to their experience and progress at their own pace.
Blanche is also a fine art painter, and holds a License in Psychotherapy.
