A native of Washington and graduate of the University of Washington, Eunice thought her career path would stay in Graphic Design working at a desk behind a computer until she was involved in three major car accidents. Years of chiropractic care, massage therapy, and physical therapy appointments finally placed a Band-aid on her chronic back pain but as soon as the various appointments stopped (as all insurance coverage does) all the pain came back.
When she took her first hot yoga class, it changed her life. Hot yoga did what no other exercise has been able to accomplish; it soothed her soul and mind. Stresses were more manageable. Staying focused was easier. Eunice knew hot yoga would stay with her for the rest of her life.
She signed up for Hot Hatha Teacher Training within the first month of her first class in 2008. One year after her first class she starts managing the studio in Federal Way while also increasing attendance, membership retention, profitability and sales for the two years she was there. Since then her yoga continuing education years encompassed a Hot Power Teacher Training, a Yin Yoga training, Ashtanga yoga, anatomy, assisting multiple yoga teacher trainings and workshops, Yoga Wall training, many dissections of yoga philosophy to directing Hatha and Power Teacher Trainings at Hot Yoga Inc. and now on her own along with her own personal journey to E-RYT 500.
Eunice has dedicated herself to the next step of continually giving back to her yoga students through leading classes and trainings. Yoga is her lifelong study and practice.
