Shana Thornton loves to combine yoga and writing, as well as yoga and trail running. She believes that yoga can be combined with anything. She is an author of three novels, the owner of Thorncraft Publishing, and series editor of BreatheYourOMBalance, a yoga book series published biannually. In addition to writing, Shana is both an ultra trail runner and a yoga practitioner. She has created a yoga and writing workshop series that guides writers into creatively exploring their yoga practice. Shana is the author of The Adventures to Pawnassus (2019), Poke Sallet Queen and the Family Medicine Wheel (2015), Multiple Exposure (2012), and co-author of Seasons of Balance: On Creativity and Mindfulness (2016). Shana earned an M.A. in Literature with Honors from Austin Peay State University. She is the Director of Religious Education at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Clarksville, TN.
