Shana Thornton is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. She trained with Kelsy Timas of Guiding Wellness Institute, a Registered Yoga School (RYS). Shana is an author, the owner of Thorncraft Publishing, and series editor of BreatheYourOMBalance, a yoga book series published biannually. In addition to writing, Shana is both a trail runner and a yoga practitioner. She has created a yoga and writing workshop series that guides writers into creatively exploring their yoga practice. Shana is the author of Multiple Exposure (2012), Poke Sallet Queen and the Family Medicine Wheel (2015), and co-author of Seasons of Balance: On Creativity and Mindfulness (2016). Shana earned an M.A. in Literature with Honors from Austin Peay State University. She is the Director of Religious Education at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Clarksville, TN.
