Krista Stevenson completed her 200 hr training with Tiffany Russo through Annie Carpenter’s SmartFLOW program, Spring 2017. This program trained her to be able to teach in a way that is detailed to anatomy, alignment, and with a concentration on the physical body. She did her 300 hr training through Embodied Yoga School with Shilah Sarkissian and Josh Plotkin - a program with a focus on embodiment of the mind, body, and spirit. She gives credit to the two completely different programs helping her create a well-rounded, versatile teaching approach. She is committed to a daily yoga practice in some form and loves to share this passion with others. She considers herself always a student, and continually seeks new knowledge and techniques to offer her students. She began yoga as a way to become physically fit, and along the way found that there is a strong, deep connection between our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. She likes to think of the practice of yoga as a union of many different things that we can first approach through asana, or physical postures. Then, as our bodies align, other aspects in our lives naturally follow. Krista also enjoys crossfit workouts, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends. A Montana native, she feels most at home in the Mountains.
