I have practised yoga since I was a child and take great pleasure in bringing yoga to all, including those who have not experienced it before, or who have stopped practising regularly.
I run small groups and one-to-one sessions, as well as working as a yoga instructor at a large Brighton gym where I teach flow, Hatha, Yin and a weekly De-Stress & De-Tox session that also involves breath work and meditation. I teach seated yoga at a local hospice.
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, following the completion of my yoga 200 hour teacher training with Be Yoga, a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
I continue my professional yoga development and train regularly with Peter Blackaby, a leading yoga teacher and author of Intelligent Yoga, Listening to the body's innate wisdom (Casita Press). Between December 2017 and April 2019 I undertook over 100 hours of additional training.
In 2018 I acquired my Fitness Pilates qualification as part of my ongoing exploration of body awareness techniques and their implications for health, wellbeing at both a physical and mental level.
