Jen is a physical therapist with a passion for yoga. She teaches yoga anatomy & kinesiology in Kindness Yoga’s 200 and teacher training programs. Lighthearted and enthusiastic, Jen is known for her engaging style and ability to share complex concepts in a clear and accessible way. Her teachings are applied and relevant. Students are encouraged to explore and experiment and to integrate knowledge into practice and teaching. Her yoga classes are creative and empowering. She sequences with intention and uses engagement-oriented cues to facilitate a safe and rewarding asana practice. Expect a steady, unhurried pace, a focus on breathing, options and modifications, challenging standing postures, and time for stillness and reflection.
Jen is a graduate of The Ohio State University's Physical Therapy Program (1995) and has a Master's Degree in Exercise Science from Arizona State University (1999). In 2012, she completed her 200-hour vinyasa teaching program at Cambio Yoga in Colorado Springs, and in 2014, she earned her 300-hour advanced training certification from Kindness Yoga where she now serves as part of the teacher training faculty.
