I came to yoga several years ago looking to improve a painful back and quickly developed a passion for classical Hatha Yoga. I then decided to do yoga teacher training and spent one month in Bali with the Akasha Yoga Academy, completing an intense but rewarding course.
I now teach yoga online: two Classical Hatha classes and one Restorative Yin Yoga class each week. In addition, I offer one-to-one personal yoga. Along with the regular classes, I offer MatChat™ Yoga, a bespoke practice working with the chakra subtle energy system to free up the body and mind from emotional burdens.
I enjoy podcasting and publish weekly MatChat™ with Mina Podcasts where I talk to interesting people from all walks of life about wellbeing – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
I recently published Not for the last time, a spiritual journey book I wrote after suffering a difficult bereavement several years ago. It's the uplifting story of how I found hope, courage and strength, including finding yoga, and ultimately discovering self-empowerment and joy. When not writing, teaching or broadcasting, I enjoy walking in the local countryside with Barley, my constant canine companion.
