I am again where I grew up, in BC, Canada. With my partner, Shirley (also YA certified), we garden, bicycle, hike, and enjoy our shared time together. We love rocks, water, quiet, laughter and warmth.
I teach classes in my eclectic ‘slow-flow’ style of yoga with focus on alignment to create safety and to guide students towards the development of functional movement patterns. With connection to the breath, focus on sensation, and sitting in the Witness, yoga classes can be transformative. We also offer YTT programs, sharing a long history of learning and practice for people who want to teach yoga, and not just guide postures.
Living at the Kripalu Center for 13 years, I was very fortunate to have many opportunities to study with some of the best teachers in the yoga and meditation fields. Starting as the ashram photographer, I eventually trained to direct Kripalu teacher training programs, graduating hundreds of people that have gone on to teach all over the world.
This path of Yoga has been a deep blessing for me. I am honored to live the teachings, and share them with the many students that come to the two studios that I teach at. I feel that as yoga teachers, we are helping to bring light into the world, insight into the lives of those who choose to practice, and connection to Spirit, our Highest Self.
Namaste.
