Katerina Nteli is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). Katerina's first contact with yoga was a Kriya Yoga class back in 1998 and has been practicing ever since. Through these 20 years of training, she has been and continues to be a student of Kriya, Hatha, Raja, Vinyasa, Partner, Chair and Yin Yoga. Her latest passions are Aqua Yoga and Acro Yoga. Katerina believes that yoga is not a competition, neither a religion. Yoga is a science that uses the body to achieve inner peace. To lead the mind in the deepest areas of the subconscious and then elevate it to the superconscious. To open the heart to a greater understanding of other human beings and all earthlings, so as to realize that we are all connected and together we can create a new era for humanity, oriented towards unconditional love.
For Katerina Yoga is the synonym of self-awareness and awakening of the heart and mind. She practices and teaches yoga with respect to the physical and spiritual well-being of her students, always according to the Yamas and Niyamas. Namaste!
