Yoga became a part of my life in 2008. As I began explore the different styles of yoga, I ended up finding Vinyasa. Learning to be more mindful, and “in the present” during my practice allowed my body and mind to work in harmony. Focusing on the fluidity of my movements, and concentrating on my breath to calm and ease my body, brought peace of mind to my practice and my life.
I am constantly inspired by those around me within the yoga community. Yoga has taught me to dive into new things without fear, to be free and express myself in my own way, while pushing myself to always try new things and not become rigid in my practice or life.
