Rebecca is a Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher (RYT-200) with additional specialist training as a Prenatal, Postnatal & Baby Yoga Teacher (RYPT) and Children's Yoga teacher. She has trained extensively in New York with YogaWorks and Little Flower Yoga as well as in London with Katy Appleton, Sydney and Bali.
Through professional and personal experience Rebecca recognised that modern women often lack the support required to navigate some of life's major transitions - marriage, pregnancy, motherhood - and needlessly struggle through shifts in identity, responsibility and daily life.
Yoga offers a practical and tangible way to navigate these challenges at a physical and emotional level. Using movement, mindfulness, breathwork (pranayama) and meditation Rebecca helps her clients to navigate their individual experience - be that becoming a new mother, trying to conceive or raising a young family.
In 2017, Rebecca founded Anicca Yoga in response to a growing need for yoga to support women through times of transition, most especially motherhood.
Whilst building strength and flexibility Rebecca teaches self-compassion, acceptance and techniques to help us be calmer, kinder and more energetic off the mat. She humbly acknowledges she is a teacher not a master, and as a new mum continues to navigate her journey into motherhood.
