Jessica believes in the importance of the mind-body connection to help others find their physical and mental strength. She enjoys empowering those new to yoga and working with trauma survivors. She believes in the healing benefits of yoga for overall wellness. Her yoga journey began over 25 years ago. As a counselor, yoga teacher, and parent, Jessica focuses on helping students and clients to grow.
She completed her master’s degree in Counselor Education, Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Educational Specialist degree in Counselor Education at Jacksonville State University. She is the owner/director of Isbell Counseling, LLC in Alabama and Bright Counseling, PLLC in Texas. She has completed training in trauma-informed yoga, Core Strength Vinyasa (CSV), children's yoga. She is certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Teens (MBSR-T) and completed Mindful Schools trainings. She has also presented locally, nationally, and soon-to-be internationally on mindfulness, yoga, self-care, and counseling related topics. Jessica is currently working on her 300-hour yoga teacher training and 100-hour Holy Yoga training.
