            25.11.1980 – Born in Israel. 1980-1999 – Growing up in Kibuts Givaat Haim Ihud in Israel. 1989 till now – Playing the recorder and the violin. 1996-1998 – Involved with youth movement and guiding kids and youth (7th and 8th grade)....

 

     

   25.11.1980 – Born in Israel.

1980-1999 – Growing up in Kibuts Givaat Haim Ihud in Israel.

1989 till now – Playing the recorder and the violin.

1996-1998 – Involved with youth movement and guiding kids and youth (7th and 8th grade).

1999-2000 – Social service in the youth movement, guiding teenagers and living in a commune trying to create a better society.

2000-2003 – Military service.

2004 till now – Started to practice Yoga with a teacher mainly influenced from the Bihar school of Yoga, and Vijnana Yoga (Mixed Iyengar and Vinyasa style created by Orit San-Gupta)

2005-2009 – Studied music for bachelor degree (recorder as main instrument) in “The Jerusalem academy for music and dance”. During this time performing concerts all around Israel and abroad, with the Jerusalem Baroque Trio and teaching music in primary schools.

2009-2012 – Master degree studying in medieval music in Basel (Switzerland) at the “Schola Cantorum Basilliensis”.

2010 till now– Starting to teach Yoga.

2011 - Teacher training course of Sivananda yoga 200 hours.

2011 - Sanskrit and philosophy course with Manorama D’Aliva.

June 2012 till now – Teaching yoga full time job, giving yoga workshops in different topics and leading Bhujan sessions with the harmonium in places such as Paris, India, Thailand, Barcelona, Nice, Zagreb, Belgrade, Bern, Basel and more. 

Sep-Dec 2012 – Dharma Mittra yoga advanced teacher-training course 500 hours in New-York city. Yoga style that, mixes Vinyasa and Hatha, with great emphasize on other spiritual and esoteric yoga practices such as Yoga Nidara and Psychic development. 

2014 – Co-teaching YTTC at Anamaya yoga school in France, Kirtan and Mantras. 

From December 2014 on – Traveling and teaching yoga around the world.

April 2015 – Taking one month Ayurveda course in Dharamsala with Dr. Ahrun Sharma. 

February 2016 – Thai Yoga Massage course with the Sunshine Network.

From November 2016 on – Shir is part of the teacher training team of Parimukti, and Feeling Good Soul schools of yoga (main Asana and anatomy teacher).  https://www.parimukti.com      http://feelingsoulgood.com

October 2017 – Will be leading an advanced TTC (300 hours) in RainbowLight Yoga retreat center, in France.
