Jessica “Joy’s” classes combine her diverse knowledge of yoga with her background in massage therapy, resulting in a combination of functional fitness with mindful movements and breath-work.
Her studies and adventurous nature have taken her from her first class in Ohio to New York, Colorado, Utah, India, and finally joining us here in Portland! The diversity of her studies and techniques allow her to adapt, share and grow in each class with every individual she meets. Just as every body is unique, so are her classes.
Jessica’s gentle, yet alignment based approaches will leave you feeling guided, safe and grounded. She loves helping people gain awareness of their bodies and the therapeutic benefits of mindful movement and relaxation.
When not massaging or on the mat at Knot Springs, you may find her on a hike, paddle-boarding, with her dog, or slack-lining!
