Dr. J. Haunani Chong Drake, DACM, is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, international Yoga & Ayurveda educator and mentor, and co-founder of Qi & Prana, Dignity Centered Medicine, and Healing Tigress. As an educator, she is well known for making seemingly complex theories and ideas easy to understand while making the wisdom of Yoga and Asian Medicine applicable to your life immediately.
Haunani integrates all of her geeky passions and education in human anatomy, neuroanatomy, Yoga, Ayurveda, Acupuncture/TCM, Hawaiian cultural practices, trauma-informed/healing-centered health equity into professional workshops, curated programs, continuing education, retreats, and trainings for yoga teachers, holistic healthcare providers, and wellness experts.

She is often found exploring the world with her on-the-go military family, finding the nearest water to jump in, scrolling Zillow (instead of social media), and continuing her understanding of life, healing and medicine through Spirit and science.
She received her B.A. Sociology from Whitman College, M.S. Traditional Oriental Medicine and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health Sciences. She is a certified Ayurveda Wellness Counselor from Kerala Ayurveda Academy under Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar, B.A.MS., and Feng Shui consultant from International Feng Shui School under Amanda Sophia.
