Valerie started her personal yoga practice for physical reasons and found that she was drawn to the mental, emotional and spiritual effects that she experienced. This recognition resulted in a 200 hour Yoga Teaching Certification program from The Spiritual Life Society & Yoga Center. Valerie became a 200RYT with the Yoga Alliance after receiving her certification in 2016. Due to her love of learning, she continues to take workshops and trainings so that she can have more resources, variations and options to offer to those around her. In this way, Valerie considers herself a yoga guide, who gets to experience the growth of others who share their practice with her.
