Nick teaches with purpose, from the heart for the heart, knowing that each student is unique.
In his over 20 years of practicing yoga, Nick has had incredible opportunities to practice with and learn from truly inspiring people, many of which have become dear friends and mentors. In 2015, Nick completed a 16-day intensive yoga teacher training in Costa Rica with Marianne Wells where he received his RYT200 teacher training certification. This training was life changing as it allowed Nick to dive deep into self-exploration and the study of yoga. Nick is working towards his 500RYT and has completed his 1st 100 hours of 300 hours with Marianne Wells at the Art of Living Retreat Center in Boone, N.C. and his 2nd 200 of 300 hours Teacher Training in Bali, Indonesia November 2019. Nick recently completed advanced teacher training for Yoga for Mental Health: Trauma and Addiction Training through Kula for Karma. In 2020, Nick has completed the Y12SR Leadership training now certified to lead 12-step recovery groups.
Nick was humbled to have the opportunity to attend a workshop with Dr. Vasant Lad in New Mexico at the Ayruvedic Institute learning about Chakras and how to unblock your neuromagnetic energy field.
Nick teaches Hatha Yoga, including Vinyasa flow, at Hot on Yoga in Winter Garden, FL. and Yoga for Trauma and Addiction for Kula For Karma. He also teaches outdoor community yoga in his neighborhood. Previously, Nick taught at the Jewish Community Alliance is Jacksonville, FL.
When not teaching, Nick enjoys spending quality time with his husband and 2 beautiful children. He walks daily enjoying the outdoors with his dog Simon. Nick also attends the Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Center, where he loves to listen to Buddhist teachings while going deeper into his meditation practice.
Nick comes to you with his own experiences from his own life journey and has worked with a life-coach and is familiar with 12-step programs and advanced trauma training.
It is Nick’s joy to share his passion with his students and loves to see them evolve and grow into their full potential through yoga and meditation.
