I began practicing yoga over 20 years ago to combat anxiety and stress and found that I loved finding my breathe and the quieting of the mind I experienced on the mat so much that it became a regular practice. I completed the 200hr + 300hr transformational yoga teacher training at The Sanctuary in Plymouth under the guidance of Michelle Fleming. I have also studied under too many amazing teachers to mention.
I am an E-RYT 200hr/500hr Registered Yoga Teacher and a YACEP with Yoga Alliance. I am also certified in Yin Yoga and Thai Yoga Massage Level 2 as well as Pre/Post Natal Yoga and restorative Aerial Yoga and Reiki I, Meridian Yoga. My classes are a fusion of the special movements and techniques from all of these disciplines. My classes are fun and challenging, open to levels of practice and tailored to meet the needs of all students but with a strong emphasizes on proper structural alignment giving students a firm foundation on which they can build their own practice.
I continue to study under various teachers, and I am currently focusing my training on subtle body awareness and Somatic movement.
