I came to YOGA about 9 years ago during a rough time in my life. I was caring for aging parents and working full-time and trying to bounce a lot of balls. I found immediately that it helped me to concentrate, relieve anxiety and affected my entire well-being. I continued on that journey and eventually decided to share this journey with others. I received my RYT-200 Yoga teacher training in May 2016 with YOGA FAITH. I recently completed Trauma Sensitive Yoga training with Yoga Faith which was absolutely amazing. I feel like these tools load my yoga tool pouch even more and will allow me to help those who have been affected by Trauma. I consider it an honor to share in the pain and/or tragedy of people's lives. Come for the Yoga... Stay for the Change.
I am so encouraged as I age to extend my teaching is to help other women become their happiest, healthiest, authentic self. I teach restorative, gentle flow type classes with expressed teaching on honoring GOD on your mat. These type classes will help to strengthen core, improve balance, posture and flexibility and will include meditation.
I choose to use Contemporary Christian Music as I teach and my goal is that each student will leave feeling peaceful and refreshed to face a new day.
