Amber Jane is a Holistic Health Practitioner with a qualification in Occupational Therapy, a Yoga Teacher and an advocate for accessible, holistic and equitable healthcare with over 30 years of human experience. Passionate about creating transformative change and personal growth for those in need her intention is to encourage and integrate the simple, yet effective, tools of Yoga and mindfulness to inspire better health and wellbeing throughout our communities.
Since the age of 5, Amber Jane has developed a curiosity for biomechanics and somatic movement based therapies through her love of dance. While pursuing a professional dancing career she discovered that Yoga’s philosophical foundations grounded her in authenticity and unraveled a multi-faceted awakening to how one can approach life. In 2014, she decided to train for a year with the incredible Dr Pooja Maddela, which offered a strong foundation of Yoga philosophy and inspired her to share the teachings that support and inspire her.
Since then, she has trained with numerous Yoga Teachers who are making positive waves around the world, run her own studio in small-town New Zealand, and taught internationally and nationally on varying platforms.
Guided by Yoga's philosophical practices, she now works predominantly in her role as a Holistic Health Practitioner, both privately, and within Primary Care.
