Madhu Sai is an experienced Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) and a continuing education provider (YACEP) that recognizes him as an expert in one or more of Yoga Alliance's educational categories. Madhu Sai has extensive experience in autoimmune issues, trauma release, and mental health, a registered Professional counsellor in Applied Psychology and Counselling, and a certified SMART Recovery Facilitator.
Madhu Sai promotes clinical, holistic, and wellness-focused social-emotional-spiritual development. He is dedicated to build higher consciousness communities and serve people with mental health challenges and to bring relief and liberation to inner suffering.
Madhu Sai comes from an orthodox Hindu family in India and was exposed to Vedic Hindu texts since childhood. After completing his engineering at age 23, his Yoga Journey started as a monk in 1995 and received the blessings on account of his deep involvement in Master Sri Bhagavan’s mission around the world. Two other selfless Masters who captivated his heart are Acharya Sri Sankara Bhagavadpada and Sri Jiddu Krishnamurti. Acharya Sankaraji introduced the teachings of Krishnamurti to Madhu Sai, along with the teachings of Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Adviata, Vedic Astrology, and Amanaska Yoga.
After the sudden passing away of his father due to a massive heart attack in 1990, Madhu Sai went into his inner life and work. Over the next few years, with the help and guidance of his Masters' teachings, he underwent a spiritual transformation and had several fundamental spiritual realizations. He explored, experimented, experienced, and was able to expand his philosophical and religious outlook and widen his understanding in the areas of mental, emotional, and spiritual life by the way of self-Knowing and Self-realization.
He travelled extensively and studied other ancient cultures around the world. He understands people’s minds from various backgrounds and is passionate to help people with their mental and spiritual health. He approaches spiritual and psychological problems of life from an esoteric and scientific perspective. He blends common sense with real-world experiences, and time-tested teachings to a higher level of problem solving, self-awareness, and deeper understanding.
Madhu Sai moved to Kamloops, BC in 2015. Kamloops is surrounded by gorgeous mountains and a huge river (Thompson River) that flows in the middle of the city. He immediately felt welcomed, grounded, connected, and supported by its nature and the land. He lives with his wife and daughter, often travelling to the United States and Mexico.
