Clare began her yoga journey at age 11 when one of her gym teachers incorporated yoga poses, such as Shoulderstand, into her weekly gym classes. Encouraged to embrace a life of academics and teaching at the high school and university levels, it took her over 30 years to eventually come full circle and embrace what she learned so long ago. Once she started Bikram Yoga, she completed an almost daily routine of six days a week, just as Bikram Choudhury prescribed. Crediting Sandy Robin and Noelle Burgoyne as her primary mentors, she earned her teaching certification in 2015 and has been teaching ever since. In addition to yoga, she also has experience training in running, weightlifting, Kung-Fu, Aikido, and archery.
