Lori completed yoga teacher trainings with the Yoga Center of Minneapolis, Life Power Yoga, Jason Crandell (vinyasa), Bernie Clark and Diana Batts (yin), Matthew Sanford (adaptive), and Voice Colors Yoga for Autism. She holds a master's degree from the University of Minnesota and is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified Group Fitness Instructor, Reiki Master Practitioner, and Thai Yoga Bodyworker in training. An avid lifelong learner, Lori has completed over 2000 hours of movement and meditation-based training in the past decade including vinyasa, yin, restorative, adaptive, power, chair, the art of teaching beginners, Warrior Sculpt, and HIIT yoga; Vipassana meditation; Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction, and graduate-level coursework in mind-body science, yoga, meditation, and Reiki through the University of Minnesota; Thai Yoga Bodywork and Reiki with Devanadi and Tanya Boigenzahn, and a variety of other movement and group fitness formats and topics. She currently teaches vinyasa, gentle, yin, and chair yoga, myofascial release, and other specialty yoga classes through Lifetime Fitness in Champlin and Maple Grove, Minnesota, and offers private yoga classes, workshops, and Thai Yoga Bodywork and restorative+reiki sessions for individuals and small groups.
