I have been aware of Yoga throughout my adult life. But, it is in the last decade that I have really begun to understand, identify and embrace Yogic Philosophy. It is from this perspective of Student, Teacher and a Teacher of Teachers, that I see first hand the benefits of Yoga in harmonizing Mind, Body and Soul.
Towards this never ending story (no pun intended) I have over the years completed formal Yoga Teacher Training (YTT 500hrs), across three continents. This ongoing process of learning has helped hone my interest in how Yoga can be used as part of a restorative toolbox. A specialization for me has been to work closely with individuals. This attention has allowed me the opportunity to focus and adapt the practice to meet personal needs, incorporating a restorative focus.
In my general practice I enjoy leading classes which have both an intention and theme, with an air of lightness and humor. My aim is to leave people relaxed and energized, with a feeling of wellbeing, which they carry forward until mats are rolled out again.
