In short, I am a computer-science-math nerd turned anatomy-movement-wellness geek! Though I started out with a degree in Computer Science and worked in that field for over a decade, a burning desire to do "something more" with my life led me to retrain as a massage therapist and start over again in 1996/97. In the process I found a new fascination: the world of anatomy, fascia (connective tissue), physiology, movement skills, and nutrition. My hunger to learn as much as I could led to studying with leading teachers in Australia and the USA and ultimately obtaining qualifications in Structural Bodywork, Thai Bodywork, Hawaiian Bodywork, and various forms of Yoga instruction including Vinyasa, Core Strength Vinyasa, and Yoga Tune Up®. As an Experienced Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher my passion is helping my students and clients improve their health and wellbeing using yoga, breathing, meditation, and self-care tools and techniques. I run regular workshops on yoga and self-care related topics as well as teaching yoga publicly and privately. I also provide a mobile massage/bodywork service taking appointments via my website. If you are ready to "uprade" your health and learn how to live better in your body, please take the first step and reach out to me today!
