Leona has dedicated herself to the practice of yoga for the past decade. She started her yoga practice in the Ashtanga tradition and gradually explored the practices of Vinyasa, Yin, Pranayama and Meditation. Her practice and teaching style have evolved from a heavily physical experience to a more mindfulness-based curation of fluid and biomechanically-safe movements, breathing exercises, and meditative expression. In 2015, she founded Bodhi Yoga Center, a humble yoga school in Southern Philippines, with the vision of yoga teacher training courses to Filipino practitioners who aspire to become yoga teachers.
Bodhi Yoga Center is the intersection of Leona's pursuit of the yogic path and her extensive business education. Her vision is to build Bodhi as a mindful local business that makes a meaningful impact to the life of every student who walks through its doors.
