Denise discovered yoga in 1997 after experiencing severe whiplash in car accident.  The lasting pain was becoming debilitating and not wanting to use drugs to mask the pain, she went in search of a modality that could get to the core of the injury and relieve it permanently.  For Denise, it was yoga and energy healing.   The positive effects of these practices greatly impacted her personal life as well as her profession as a classical singer and voice instructor.  She now merges all to assist others on the path of inner healing and peace through the practices of yoga and sound.  She’s certified as a Yoga Instructor (RYT500), YogaVoice® Instructor, and Sound Healing Practitioner and Teacher with the Atma Buti Sound and Vibrational School. She is also a professional classical singer and voice instructor.

Initially trained as music educator, she has been teaching individuals and groups for over 25 years.  In the yoga world, she has developed several meditation curriculum's, sound meditation, breath and vocal technique courses. 

Presently, her home teaching yoga studio is in Hillsborough, NJ but she offers sound meditations and courses at her Sound Awakenings Studio in Piscataway, NJ as well as all around the world.
